kin style-chambray shirt two ways

July 20, 2012 |

I am so happy with this video from Kin about one of my favorite wardrobe staples-the chambray shirt. Here I styled it two ways-casual and more dressed up. Both of which I’ve had in heavy rotation this summer. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Happy Friday everyone!

These are so much fun to watch. And it just adds that you’re friends with my bff Kari.

PS One thing I esp. like is that you feature some of the same things you did before, i.e. same gold bracelet, instead of something new each time. It’s a more honest way to show how a woman on a limited budget can make things she has work in various ways, instead of always needing to buy something else new.

Yes, I’m a big fan of getting a couple of great pieces that you LOVE and finding ways to re-work them. It’s better to stay classic with those choices so you can mix in trends as they come and go.

Super cute! You always pull off these pieces so well. I love that you showed both casual and dressy alternatives. 🙂 I don’t own a chambray shirt but now I want one. 😀

Thanks Latrina! They’re so great, honestly I live in mine. The one I’m wearing is from JCrew, but also check out the Gap, Banana or Urban Outfitters. Happy hunting!

Love it, you are great in front of the camera. I totally agree with the poster above, I love how you rework your pieces in each outfit. xo
